1.Functional description:

The meter is a miniature intelligent wood moisture meter adopting pin contact mode, suitable for measuring water content in wooden fiber articles such as wooden and bamboo objects, cotton, tobacco, paper and Chinese medical materials, etc.

3.Operational description:

1. Install battery properly.

2. Turn dial switch of temperature  to select corresponding ambient temperature as per actual temperature (recommend to select 15-25 for room temperature).

3. Take off protective casing of probe, Insert the detecting head of the meter about 5mm into the measured object, press the measurement key and connect power, and then begin measurement when screen display changes from 88.0% to testing value (do not loosen measurement key during measurement, if so, power will be disconnected).

4. Then the testing value displayed on the screen is the water content of the object.

5. After the value is read, loosen the testing key, draw meter off, and cover the protective casing well to complete the measurement.

4.Attentions:

1. The detecting head of the meter is very sharp, so keep it away from children or do not let children play with it to prevent injury.

2. Do not aim the detecting head for measurement towards any person or animal to avoid injury.

3. The meter is not allowed to be used to measure any charged objects lest the meter might be damaged.

4. When the sign         is displayed on the screen, it indicates that the battery voltage is low. To ensure the accuracy of the measurement, please replace it with a new 9V battery of the same type.

5. In the event that the meter is left unused for a long time, take out the battery so as to avoid the damage of the meter due to leakage or other reasons.

6. The meter is a high resistance instrument, so various parts shall be kept for in insulated, moisture free and dust proof storage areas and the meter shall be kept clean and dry to ensure the accuracy of the measurement and the serviceability of the meter.
